Mancinix (Marco Mancini, Cortona - AR) è un pianista/tastierista, autore, compositore e cantautore.
Inizia a suonare il pianoforte a 6 anni per poi approdare alle prime band funk/blues nel periodo dell’adolescenza. Sul finire dei ’90 suona nel sestetto Jazz Short steps nell’area fiorentina, dal 2010 al 2023 fa parte dei Motorino (tributo Rino Gaetano) e nel 2014 fonda i Clark (Swing italiano). Nel 2005 inizia a comporre i primi brani musicali, affiancando all’attività di pianista/tastierista quella di cantautore.
Mancinix (Marco Mancini, Cortona - AR) is a pianist/keyboardist, author, composer and songwriter.
He began playing piano at age 6 and then landed in the first funk/blues bands in his teens. In the late 90s he plays in the Jazz sextet Short steps in the Florentine area, from 2010 to 2023 he is a member of Motorino (Rino Gaetano tribute) and in 2014 he founded Clark (Italian Swing). In 2005 he began composing his first musical pieces, combining his activity as a pianist/keyboardist with that of a songwriter.
